When beauty tips come to mind, do you ever think about the sweet stuff? I like to have a chocolate facial every once in a while. And then there are the sugar scrubs, the spice wraps and the vanilla steams.

However, all those things are not cheap. The last spa visit I had cost me way over 150 dollars Fortunately, there are a lot of ways to give yourself the same sweet treatments at home. The main ingredient for these mouthwatering facials and masques? You guessed it, honey.

Read below for a few in-home uses for honey that will leave you feeling luscious and wonderful in no time:

* Beauty Tips Using Honey #1: Bubbles are great - A cup of honey in your bubble bath leaves skin feeling soft and smooth. You can use a loofah to exfoliate your skin while your in the tub and it will give you nice, glowing skin. By adding about 4 tablespoons of whole milk powder, you skin will stay clear. When you use edible products in your bath, you must make sure to rinse down very well afterwards.

* Beauty Tips With Honey #2: Use a few different layers. - Make an egg white masque by whipping egg whites, a tablespoon of honey and a little flour or unsweetened cocoa together to make a thick paste. Heat your skin with a hot cloth for 3 minutes to open up your pores. Smooth the mask over your face. Relax for 10 minutes. Your skin will be beautiful when you wash off the mask.

* Beauty Tips With Honey #3: Just make your own toner. - Put a half a cup of honey, 2 cups of buttermilk and a half a cup of rosewater in an airtight container and mix together. The best kind of container to use is a Tupperware with a screw-on lid. Shake up the mixture until it is thoroughly blended. Its going to be a cloudy color and really runny. Then for tight, toned skin, apply it with a cotton ball.

Use the highest quality honey for these treatments. For much less than 20 dollars, you can buy a good sized jar of organic honey that hasn’t been chemically treated. You can then use this for your honey do beauty tips for a good while.
